Dear families, We are in the home stretch! We have two more (shortened) weeks of distance learning before summer break! Attached you will find the distance learning menu to be used for the weeks of May 12th – 15th AND May 18th – 21st. You will notice that this menu is slightly different. Instead of being labeled by the week day, the menus are labeled Day 1- Day 4. This is because our last two weeks of school are both four day weeks. We do not expect work to be completed on Monday, May 11th ( snow day make up day) or Friday, May 22nd (first official day of summer break). You will also notice that the menu is more generic in content and has a bigger focus on those big skills that your child will need moving forward into first grade. This menu (and past menus) would be a great resource for continued practice and keeping skills sharp throughout summer break. During these last two weeks, keep in mind that we still need to hear back from you about your child’s progress each of these last two weeks. We will be using this feedback to complete fourth quarter grading requirements – no response from you will result in no credit for your child. Thank you for all you are doing – keep it up and keep us posted! If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out at any time. We are happy to answer questions, give guidance, send resources, or help in anyway. Thank you for all you do, The Kindergarten Team

Thank you for all you are doing – keep it up and keep us posted! Attached you will find the distance learning menu for the week of May 4th-May 8th. Hello, Parents! We have been diligently working to ensure that learning will continue during our absence from school. Our team has been coming up with a way to provide resources for you as you work with your student at home. We will be sending out a menu for each day of the week with suggestions on what to do each day. We ask that you would accomplish each section of the menu daily so that your student gets the adequate practice needed to continue learning. Each menu has some online options for ways to access books and other sites (Freckle) where learning can take place if those resources are available to you. If online resources are not available, you can continue to read our decodables, practice sight words, letters, sounds, addition and subtraction facts, along with any other reading and math topics we have covered so far. Please reference the 3rd Quarter progress checks for areas that your student needs additional practice. If you have any questions or concerns during this time, you can reach out to us and we will do our best to get back to you as quickly as we can. Thank you in advance for your willingness to work diligently with your child to ensure that learning continues during this time! -The Kindergarten Team
